We spent Saturday afternoon visiting our good friends Morgan and Shoko. They are opening the doors to their new studio on Tuesday and it is great to see Morgan's passions are coming to fruition. Drop by if you are in ever in town. Hours and location can be found here.

These are incredible. Amazing.
(10.26.09)I like how the moon is over her right shoulder in the first picture. You certainly had good subjects to photograph.
(10.27.09)Beautiful photographs, Zach. I love the accordian player in flip flops.
(10.28.09)I kind of wish we could go to weddings like this all of the time. The pictures are so beautiful!

We celebrated Morgan and Shoko's wedding in Stillwater this weekend. It was truly an event that will be remembered and was in line with Morgan's passion for not only life, but also friends, family and love. I'll be adding more photos soon, however I wanted to share this video of the music played by Morgan's friends, including some of the members of Other Lives, as he rowed his bride across a lake to meet their guest. If it sounds familiar, it is Wake Up by The Arcade Fire and featured on the trailer for Where the Wild Things are. And yes, everyone that attended the ceremony wore white.
Thank you for capturing that. I know the 4 of us will never forget that wedding.
(10.26.09)Holly shit.................you and that camera! you make my stomach smile! I am thrilled with what you have done & we must get together soon! -m
I'm very glad to see this movie because we could not see the musicians. And your pictures are wonderful.Thank you!! -s

Some people say toe-may-toe some people say toe-ma-toe. As for my aunt, some people say blog when she, once or thrice unknowingly, said "blob." Here is my growing blob roll of friends and family:
Kathy: aka mixedhandbag.com aka my wife
My favorite post thus far: When Kathy decided to play Michelle Coyne one of her husband's songs while shopping in Target.
A close second: About the Author.
Dr. Clark: aka clarkcoffee.blogspot.com
My favorite post thus far: His post on his first cup of coffee reminds me of a lot of things. Among them are my grandfathers, the smells of camping and my love for strong and stale office coffee from a gritty and stained mug.
A close second: His "unusual thoughts" on dealing with red tape, managing and leadership. Spot on.
The Ogdens: aka maceogden.blogspot.com
Favorite post thus far: "slip-n-slide." The pictures sum up the Ogden family.
A close second: "it's been forever...here's what's happened." I witnessed, first hand, a child filling up his Easter basket with vomit. The smell still haunts me and I don't think I will ever be able to stomach another Cadbury Egg.
The Wallas: aka wallawallas.blogspot.com
Favorite post thus far: Walla recalling the scooter ride we took down Route 66.
A close second: Jena as Kate Gosselin. They just started blogging a few days ago so I had to choose 2 out of three post...and I made one of them up.
The Walkers: aka wockawockawalker.blogspot.com
Favorite post thus far: The next YouTube hit, "Yo MTV Raps."
Becky: aka artwanker.blogspot.com
Favorite post thus far: "Stillwater." One of my favorite pictures she has taken.
Amanda: aka lightlyfiltered.blogspot.com
Favorite post thus far: Even though it is 50 percent mommy blog and she lives in Florida, I enjoy these pictures chronicling her budding artist.
Fawn: aka glasscandle.blogspot.com
Favorite post thus far: "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen." Fawn writes about a stripper in Lawton.
The Powers: aka thepowersthatbeokc.blogspot.com
Favorite post thus far: The Powers love NYC. On one of their recent trips they paid tribute to Central Park's park benches.
Towe: aka milesofsmiles-jennifer.blogspot.com
Favorite post thus far: "Mile Marker 4." It is nice to see the progression of two friends relationship, especially in pictures.
Anna Leigh: aka usuallyclueless.blogspot.com
Favorite post thus far: "My New BFF." There is something about reading other people's preference in toilet paper that makes you feel a simple connection.
This is a pretty fancy post on your new fancy blog. I am feeling unworthy of top billing rights. Glad I posted something worthwhile on the ol' blob today.
